Dr. Jessie Schulman is a licensed clinical psychologist. She has experience working with individuals of all ages, and currently offers services to children, adolescents, and college aged adults (ages 6+).
Dr. Schulman graduated summa cum laude from The University of Arizona and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her Master’s and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her predoctoral internship at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, Nemours Children’s Health, The Johns Hopkins Hospital, and Heartwood Psychology.
Dr. Schulman is passionate about the completion of evaluations. She thrives on being a clinical “detective,” and puts great emphasis on gaining an understanding of each individual’s strengths, needs, and challenges. Dr. Schulman is adept at identifying learning profiles, emotional difficulties, and situational stressors, while also being solution focused. She feels that making people feel at ease and building a strong rapport is an essential part of the evaluation process. She looks forward to working with individuals and families facing developmental or academic challenges and is comfortable assisting in advocating for their needs.
