Leigh Alfieris, LPC

Leigh Alfieris, LPC is a Licensed Professional Counselor at NeuroPsych Wellness Center. She earned her master’s in clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Marriage and Family Counseling, from the College of William and Mary. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in Sociology and Women’s Studies from James Madison University.

With a strong background in working with children and adolescents, Leigh brings experience from her time as a preschool teacher, as well as her internships at a play therapy center and a family clinic. These roles fueled her passion for guiding young people through the therapeutic process. Leigh is dedicated to decreasing the stigma surrounding mental health and works collaboratively with her clients to support their growth and well-being. Leigh is now accepting new clients for both in-person and virtual appointments. No longer working under supervision, she independently provides clinical services as a fully licensed practitioner.

In her free time, Leigh enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, and playing tennis
