Alejandra Rodriguez Hernandez is a Resident in Counseling who provides supportive, client-centered care to children, adolescents, young adults, and families. She has experience helping clients navigate a variety of emotional, behavioral, and life challenges.
Alejandra earned her Master of Science from Liberty University and has worked in behavioral health, school-based, community, and clinical settings. Her experience includes individual therapy, group therapy, family support, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination for clients with mental health concerns, developmental disabilities, and other complex needs.
She has supported clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma-related symptoms, PTSD, ADHD, life transitions, identity development, behavioral concerns, and suicidal ideation. Alejandra uses approaches such as cognitive behavioral strategies, psychoeducation, values exploration, and strengths-based support to help clients better understand themselves, build coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals.
Alejandra is fluent in English and Spanish and values creating a supportive and respectful therapeutic environment. Her goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they navigate challenges and build on their strengths.
