Ms. Osborne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Virginia. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and has over twenty-five years of experience in social work.
Ms. Osborne’s undergraduate studies focused on social science and behavioral science, with a minor in anthropology and pre-law. She has a broad understanding of diverse cultures, having lived in Italy and Germany and traveled extensively to destinations including Mexico, Jamaica, and China. These experiences have contributed to her appreciation for diverse perspectives and her familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
Ms. Osborne enjoys working with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and works particularly well with couples and individuals aged twenty-five and older. She is extremely knowledgeable about military family stressors, deployments, and the unique challenges associated with military life.
Her areas of focus include life transitions and adjustment, trauma, depression, generalized anxiety, grief, and loss. Ms. Osborne utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), transactional analysis (TA), and solution-focused therapy, while adapting her therapeutic approach to meet each individual’s needs and treatment plan.
